SCCG has been active in managing trade associations that relate to some of the markets in which it has been involved. Currently, the company is managing associations in the optical storage (OSTA), and in physical security (PSIA).
SCCG has managed the Optical Storage Technology Association (OSTA) since 2002. OSTA is involved with developing standards to support the optical storage industry and also acts as an advocate for optical storage products.
SCCG helped found and currently manages the Physical Security Interoperability Alliance (PSIA). The PSIA is developing specifications and standards to promote interoperability among internet protocol (IP) devices. These will support video, analytics, storage, access control, and intrusion products.
